How every article is made

1. Primary sources only. Every rule is cited to the Korean statute or decree on the National Law Information Center (law.go.kr), with the article number and the enforcement date. Government notices and official forms are linked to their original page.
2. The Korean text is the reference. Official English translations of Korean laws are often one or more amendments behind. When the English version is out of date, the article says so and summarizes what changed.
3. Dates are shown. Each article shows the enforcement date of the rule it describes and the date I last checked it. When a law is amended, the article is updated and the change is logged at the bottom.
4. Written with AI assistance, checked by a person. First drafts are produced with AI drafting tools. Before anything is published, I (Yewon Kim) verify every citation, number, and date against the Korean source on law.go.kr and edit the text. Nothing is published unread.
5. Corrections. If you find an error, use the contact form. Corrections are noted on the article with the date.

What this site does not do

• This is not legal advice. Articles describe rules in general terms. Your situation may differ. For a decision that matters, consult a licensed Korean attorney (변호사) or a certified labor attorney (공인노무사).
• I do not answer individual questions, review documents, file paperwork, or refer you to a professional. Comments and emails asking for personal advice will not be answered.
• No screenshots of news articles or dramas. Facts from news are restated in my own words with a link to the source.

If you find an error — a wrong date, an outdated figure, or a rule that has since changed — use the contact form. Confirmed corrections are made to the article text and logged in the changelog at the bottom of the page, with the date of the correction.
